Hoogeschool Antwerp’s Fashion Department is famed for its creativity and innovation, and in the past, it paved the way for some of the most steamy names in today’s industry, including Peter Pilotto, Haider Ackermann, Stephan Schneider, Gunhyo Kim, Mikio Sakabe and Bruno Pieters, and of course, the Antwerp 6. The annual show presents the work of all the students from the Academy. First year students show their experiments with a skirt, dress and jacket, while second year students present their inerpretation of historical costumes of their choice. After a break, a small group of master students takes us on a trip around the world with ethnic-inspired costumes, and the big finale includes 4th year students and their 12 silhouettes. Dazed got a hot preview of what to expect from a few of the final year students.
